You have to do your homework. I can suggest only a few hints :
1. Extensive usage of non-conventional energy sources.
2. Extensive usage of renewable energy resources.
3. Improvement of domestic appliances, so that they use lesser power.
4. Abandon all foreign policies that create war-like situations.
5. Encourage cycling (as the best mode of transport within cities).
6. .... well there are endless possibilities. All you have to do is to think.
