yeah, you will almost certainly get through. Ive crossed that border both way s a lot of times for work, and they will almost certainly look at your passport, but just to determine that you are an American. They dont run then through computers or anything. As long as you dont tip them off- if you're acting all nervous and stuff, then they might do a more indepth look at you.

if you have a warrant out for you the authorities are going to check on everything about you when you enter the country. It's more than likely you will be arrested at the border. if you have any way to clear the warrant before you come back to the USA that would be your best option. You would then have no worries crossing the border.

Idon't think you'll get caught. Unless they do an extensive search which I really doubt. But don't cross the border walking cuz they will ask for an ID and scan it. (your warrent will show). Good Luck!

Immigration enforcement isn't he greatest. I know some illegal mexicans that go home on greyhound buses after being here illegally and nothing happens to them. I would think you could do it going the other way.
