Ever? I'd say the Beatles and I know the biggest selling song single in the U.S. chart history is Olivia Newton John's 'Let's Get Physical'. How pathetic is that? Who cares what is the most popular, most of the pop music today sucks! A lot of the old pop music sucks too! You have to look around to really find the best music I feel.

i would have to say either the Beatles or Elvis because everyone everywhere knows those names from the 90 year old grandma sittin in the kitchen to the grade school kid listing to his elders music if u travel round the world and ask i bet u would get an answer close to mine
