As a Mary Kay Ind. Beauty Consultant can one make our own gift baskets and kits or do we have to go by the kits the company offers?Thanks...Im new in the MK business.

Absolutely! Mother's Day is coming up so get started now. You can go on Intouch and get basket ideas from previous Applause magazines.

Have fun with it, & be creative!

If you are in NYC there is a basket making workshop this weekend being given by a director.

I am not a consultant but I work for one and she makes up her own baskets from inventory she keeps in her home.

you can do it yourself.my director even gave me advice on this during christmas... she said to get materials from dollar store... and once the baskets are made keep them in your trunk and sell them to whoever you talk to like at gas stations and stuff. i didnt even know the company sold gift basket kits. just remember: THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS, RUN IT HOWEVER YOU SEE FIT.
