Try going to Ulta 3 (if you have one, im not sure if its just a chicago store) or some type of higher scale cosmetics store. There is a product called bare minerals, its a little expensive but it covers up birth marks and moles and other things, so i dont see why it wouldnt work on your eczema.

The website says that "Our makeup offers incredible coverage which is wonderful for anyone battling acne, discoloration, skin damage, redness, Rosacea, etc, because minerals adhere naturally to the skin. "

Here is the website for bare minerals. Look around and see if you think its right for you. I hope this works out for you.

try putting on the concealer first and then the foundation- a thicker layer of foundation over the concealer but not too much so it still looks natural. the foundation should then cover the eczema so it wont matter what color.

wait till the concealer dries completely before you put the foundation over it because you dont want to wipe away the concealer.

I wouldn't go with a darker concealer because it will not blend properly and you may ruin your whole look. You should actually buy concealer a shade lighter than your skin tone. A trick I use is to apply it after your foundation. Make sure to pat it in and blend it throughly. That helps to hide any imperfections. If you apply it before your foundation when you blend your foundation it moves the concealer.

You are actually suppose to be getting a concealer that is a shade lighter than your foundation. You are actually making your eczema spot more noticeable because of a big dark spot. Anytime you are trying to cover up something you need to use a concealer shade lighter than your foundation.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Best Eczema Treatment?

NO! your concealer should always be a shade lighter than your foundation, and your foundation whould be the color of the darkest part of your skin. Third step is a loose powder. The first step is to cleanse and moisturize, then make up, then powder.

ZZZ... in your search box, type in National Psoriasis Foundation. Then, when the web page comes up, in the toolbar it will say " Treatments" Scroll down to where it says " It Works For Me". Here you will find tips about eczema/psorasis treatments and makeup from people who have that same condition. Good luck.

What color is showing through due to the eczema? Professional companies such as Makeup Forever make excellent different color bases. Like true green. This will cancel out redness. Google them and find where they sell that in your area and go in. They will gladly show you how to work with this product. The drug store bases don't have enough pigment in them to work well enough for me.

do whatever you need to do to cover it up! whether it be 3 coats of 3 different colors of makeup, who cares just do whatever works! I would use a lighter concealer on the darker spots however.

What are you applying the makeup with? You should be using a brush. I use a medium size one to apply makeup on my entire face and then with a smaller one, i go back and apply as needed. Dont use concealer... In my opinion that makes makeup look cakey and makes a face look old.
Hope i helped!!
