I have a son and a daughter who both have first and middle names that could be used for either a boy or a girl. I'm just curious what your first thought is when you hear their names...
Avery Christian...boy or girl?
Rowan Sage...boy or girl?

When I hear the WHOLE name (including middle name) I assume that Avery Christian is a boy and Rowan Sage is a girl.
BUT...if I just heard their first names and I knew that one belonged to a girl and one belonged to a boy I would assume that Avery is the girl and Rowan is the boy.
IF I just heard their first names and didn't know their middle names or that there was one boy and one girl I would think that Avery is either a boy or a girl and I would think that Rowan is a boy.
