Womens Vaginal Secretions naturally increase during the last few weeks of pregnancy. If you start feeling pressure on the cervix, a pushing sensation that doesnt feel like what you are used to, I would go back to the hospital, have a cell phone with you on your way there. Good Luck!

I don't know why they didn't tell you what it was if it wasn't your water breaking. You shouldn't be left clueless as you leave the hospital.
Either way, if your still leaking something, and it's not your water, and it doesn't seem to be urine then you need to be speaking with your doctor and or another one. Make an appt for today, or just go back to the hospital and tell them what's happening.
Don't leave till you have some answers and they have checked you out top to bottom! Don't let them tell you go until you have everything answered and you feel better for both you and your baby!
Good Luck, sorry for your sudden stress of the day. They shouldn't have let you go until you knew what it was leaking.
Hang in there few more weeks to go!

Did they test the fluid? If not, I would go see a different doctor. Otherwise, it could just be normal vaginal secretions, bathwater that found a new crevice to hide in, urine leakage caused by your changing shape and increased pressure, or an infection. No matter what it is or isn't, the doctor should have given you a better answer before sending you out the door, and I think we need to start demanding that if we are paying $3-500 for an answer that they give us one! It really makes me angry when doctors send us home with more questions than answers! What on earth are we paying for?

Are they sure? Did they do an ultrasound? I was leaking amniotic fluid at 35 weeks, and I called, and they told me it was normal, and nothing to worry about. But, I kept feeling it every time I got up, and I was having weird sharp pains in my back, so I went to the hospital and they did an ultrasound just to check, and I was right. All the amniotic fluid had slowly leaked out. I had my baby about 36 hours later.
So, trust your instincts!

Just because they said it wasnt your water doesnt make them right. I know a girl thats water broke they said it didnt and she ended up with an infection because they said this for 2 or 3 weeks she ended up giving birth to a still born baby. Go to the doctor and tell him.

I had that as well and they told me it wasn't anything to worry about and sent me back home. But in my case the leaking stopped, I dont know what it was because no one ever told me but I guess It wasn't a big deal in my situation. But you need to get back to the Dr. if they tell you that theres nothing wrong ask them why you are leaking and what it is and demand an answer. They like to dismiss problems as if its nothing when you really do have something to be concerned about. Good Luck and hurry to the Dr.

Did they just do the paper strip test? if so, my water didn't show up as fluid on them! They had to manually check to feel if my water had broke. Put on a pad and head back to the hospital. Also, cervical fluid has a smell to it. Mine smelt similar to "semen". Mine was also a silky texture ( I was losing my mucus plug with my water). You can feel it come out very often. Kinda like you tinkling on yourself every few minutes. Good Luck and get back to the hospital! :)

bless u!! Calm down and focus. Where do u live? are u in uk? if so, call your labour ward or NHS direct. If not, call your doc again. You have every right to ask again, it is your body and your baby and u deserve the correct help at a time like this. Please don't panick, everything will be fine, just get under control and do what you have to do, regardless of whether its putting anyone else out or not! Good luck honey
