I just want to know how many people are pro choice and how many people are not. And also is there any curcumstances when an abortion is ok. FOR EXAMPLE mother health, rape, incest, under age pregnacy, financially, so on and so on.

Hopefully no one gets offended that was not my intention. I'm just looking to get a few people opinion for a project that I'm working on.

I guess I am pro choice to a point. If you are stupid and dont use protection, that is your fault. I believe that those who are raped, or if the pregnancy could kill the mother, or if it is incest, then abortion should be allowed. If you get pregnant by accident and are underage or can't afford it, that is your mistake and you should be held responsible for that. If you don't want the baby, give it up for adoption.
Sorry I'm not trying to offend anyone, it is just my personal opinion

There are actually court cases where the husband took the wife to court cause the doctor said the wife would die if she had the baby and he won. The mother runs to another state and hides and has her baby. Neither dies. There are 3 cases that I know of.

As for Rape....
There is a mother, daughter group that travels the united states speaking against abortion. The mother had the abortion but the baby was spared without harm. She gave the baby up for adoption and now the child is grown and they travel together. She says the child actually saved her and helped her heal because some good came from the rape.

I am Pro Choice. There are TONS of reasons I could use to fill up this page, but I'll only put FIVE.

First) Most abortions are related to the woman's age. Accordingly to researchers, the number of teenage abortions has increased. Each year, one million American teenagers become pregnant, and 85% of these pregnancies are unintended. About 35% of pregnant teenagers choose to have an abortion rather than raise a child.

Second) The concept of when life begins is essentially religious. If one accepts that life begins at the instant of conception, it means that a soul enters into the fertilized egg at this moment, and when an abortion is performed, a life is ended. Now we must consider who has the right to end the life of another human being.

Third) The baby MEDICALLY becomes alive at around 25-26 weeks, when it can survive without the mother...

Fourth) What about anencephalic baby? (Born without a Brain, but still has a brain stem.) --Imagine you have wanted a baby for ALL of your adulthood, and have tried for YEARS without success, FINALLY, you get pregnant. You find out the baby is anencephalic, would you rather have the baby, only to watch it die minutes to hours after birth, or have an abortion and try again? The baby cannot feel pain, cannot see, can barely breathe (And sometimes can't) by itself- It has nothing about it. You can literally hold it up to a light and see the light on the other side, through the baby's pink little head... Seriously, you are going to deny a woman her right not to feel as much pain?

Fifth) Freedom is a right- Freedom is having the choice to make decisions and actions that change you and those around you. You take away a persons freedom when you take away the right to their body.

I am pro-choice, HOWEVER-- I do not support Abortion as birth control.

I personally do not support abortion--I feel that a child is innocent, therefore should not be punished by death for anything. As far as the people who say "the baby can't feel it" how do they know? The baby tries to get away, but he/she can't feel it? If you're underaged, or financially unstable, you shouldn't have been having sex to begin with. As far as the mother's health--I think most mothers would choose their child's wellbeing over their own. This is my opinion.

:o)

Well I just depend on your beliefs. I don't think any pregnancy should be terminated. Except for mothers health.....that could be an exception. But anything else no! babies are a gift from god! NO matter how they were conceived!
