If you receive food stamps do you claim this as income on your taxes as the end of the year? I've been searching online and can't seem to find any answers regarding this. Thank You!

no you do not, just unemployment.

Yes you do have to claim it.. but its not income.. on tax form theres a box asking.. if u fail to answer truthfully, they can find out... and most likely jeopardize getting more stamps.. i really dont know but thats my thought..

no you do not and if you receive a check from the welfare also you do not claim that as income either

No you do not. It is a government supplied income and you would not have to file it because it is assistance.
