I don't understand why they aren't banned from the campus. Freedom of the Press means the government can't restrict their actions, not a college. If Va Tech wanted to, I think they could bar the newscasters from campus.

They are gathering strategic details that'll be useful to future criminals. Let them do their work, so we'll have something new to stare in amazement at, next time.
America is now like a bull just moments before the final thrust is had by the bullfighter.
The red distraction will be the next Big Story.
Then, *poof* the pain will be felt...as we are funneled into the new straightjacket of Martial Law.
I find this all so exciting. Can you imagine the glory our grandchildren will have as they tell about how we escaped our Detention Camp guards?

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. The place is a frigin zoo, and disrespectful to boot. Today 170 were killed in baghdad, but its backround news.

VT is also an open campus. couldn't really keep them out. and if they tried to those reporters would just cry about freedom of speech.

campus police are not stopping them. this is why this guy brought in guns onto the campus; lax in security.
