If she doesn't like milk don't force her. There are many other places she can get the calicium she needs without having to drink it. I personally agree with a phrase I read somewhere once, "Humans drinking cow's milk is just as strange as a dog drinking giraffes milk". Instead of Cow's milk, you can try rice or soy milk, both of which are delicious. you can check out www.notmilk.com for information about the health issues with milk.

is another good source for information on how much calcium your baby needs and where some alternative sources are. Cows milk allergies are very common in infants and there have been studies that have linked it with SIDS. So if she won't drink it, maybe she is trying to tell you something

Try mixing some expressed breast milk with whole milk. (don't use low fat or skim, kids need the fat in the whole milk for growth and development) Mix it three parts breastmilk to one part whole milk, and once she gets used to that, increase the cow's milk and decrease the breast milk gradually until she's drinking all cow's milk.

My son did the same thing. I put a little strawberry syrup (nestle quick) in his milk,he didn't care for the chocolate flavor at all.

take away the juice. milk only. it may take time for her to get used to the taste. Try fat free or low fat milk, which has less flavor.
