his family lives in Centreville, Virginia and moved to america to have a better life (they were really poor in South Korea)
He has an older sister that graduated from Princeton
I read a paper that report there is a rumor that his parents killed themselves after finding out what their soon did. don't know if that is true or not though.

I heard something brief on CNN that they are not talking. I think they would like to lay low right now, yes they lost a son but there son also took 31 lives.

he has a sister at princeton and his parents live in the dc area and work as dry cleaners its in the article currently up on yahoo news

I heard (and not sure if it's true) that his parents tried to commit suicide. Not sure if they tried today or yesterday.
