I was traveling roughly south via black horse when I was set upon by several Minatours. I handed their butts back to them in a baggie but I was attacked from behind. When I turned around there was a unicorn trying to baggie my behind. When I pointed my curser right at him it offer me "Ride Unicorn" but when I clicked on him, he really gave me a hard time. I barely made it back to my horse and it was about an hour (game time, not real time) before I could fast travel to safety. What is up with the unicorn? How do you ride it? What did I do that angered it? I only used melee weapons and I'm sure I only hit minatours (oh, and a troll) but I never hit the horse. I had used a spell of invisability to get in close to the minatours, but I can't see how that would have ticked it off.

There is only one unicorn in the whole game and to ride it and all that you cannot have any weapons equipped at all. For some reason the stupid thing attacks you and keeping going at it. But if you do not care about killing it and all that (personally, I like my Shadowmere horse I get from the Dark Brotherhood) the unicorn's horn gives you a permanent health boost. I forget how much exactly. Though, the unicorn I do believe serves a purpose later on in a mission so hold out on that. I don't know exactly what kind of mission, but yeah, just have no weapons equipped at all if you plan on actually riding and keeping the unicorn. And make sure no one has any weapons around your unicorn because I remember one time I went to fight a bandit and the unicorn helped me kill him but turned on me afterwards. Damn horse!

Well, I JUST found the Unicorn myself. I have more infamy than fame, and I am riding it just fine. You might have hit it with an arrow unknowingly when battling the minotaurs and when you got closer to it, it aggressed on you. What sucks for you is I believe there is only one Unicorn in the game...and it wants to kill you lmfao.

The unicorn comes into the Daedric prince Hircine's quest. If you have any weapon drawn, it will attack you.

there is a mission to kill it but you can ride it if you approach it with no weapons drawn you might not be able to ride it now, it sux anyway just kill it
