It was at a bank, Brooklyn Federal Savings Bank. It was the worst job in the world. The place was ancient. They called $30,000.00 high pay. There was a very strict dress code. I mean, you couldn't wear anything that was actually in style except for suits. We were not allowed to eat or drink at our desks. No internet or email. There were blocks on them. I went to work late every day to try and get fired and it eventually worked. It is hard to get fired b/c they don't want you to get unemployment. If anyone is ever offered a job there pls do not take it. You will kick yourself every morning. They make it sound sweet on the interview. As soon as you get there, its a whole different thing!

Painting kiln doors at a brick-making factory. The alarm would go off and I would have to move the ladder after about two strokes of the brush. It took forever. They didn't want to stop production and the door was VERY hot. It was all automated so when the alarm goes off you better move or become BBQ'd. Some guy got crushed by the brick train coming out of the kiln. He was flat as a pancake. As a matter of fact, that's who's place I took over. I worked two days before I said, "I'm outta here!"

Working at Chuck E. Cheese. I worked as the "Ticket Girl" with the prizes. Sucked when sooooo many 5 years olds give you 2 tickets for a 5,000 ticket prize and you have to tell them no. Then they ask what they could buy with 2 and you have to tell them nothing. Times that by 100 kids per week on top of the other kids asking you stupid questions.

Walking beans or detasseling corn. Either one is more work than they can possibly pay you for. Not much fun, full of bugs and you ALWAYS get a major sunburn on parts that don't matter when you wear a swimsuit.
