Thats a good, Idea. An even better Idea would be to do away with the violation system, all together. If you're that up tight and take things so seriously, then you should find a new hobby! It's all for fun.So, have fun with it, right?!

Ive never reported abuse so perhaps I'm not 'qualified' to make a statement, but I also think that some people on hear takes these questions to seriously. And just because they are "newbies" (although how do you assess a newbie) doesn't mean to say they are not witty enough or intelligent enough to get to level three. Failing that they simply reward each other until they get there.

ME, I don't know who did it but i got a violation today for the most STUPID reason, anyone would have thought i'd said something disgusting. I don't do foul language and if i do swear it's blanked out. How come Cheryl B gets away with it time after time.? I stopped answering her questions weeks ago anyway, some people just give in to her filthy abuse.

I hvae made this suggestion before (well, mine was for people below level two), and gotten no where with it.
If a question/answer is really in violation of the guidelines, then the people at higher levels will report it, and they have worked hard for their points, and will not risk them by making false reports (which is, in itself a violation of guidelines).
Some things here are not only against the guidelines, but also against the law, and the rules of decency and deserve to be removed and the poster removed, however, giveing the abiltiy to someone who create a new acocunt every day has proven to be to easy to abuse.
Anyway, I agree with you, remove the reporting abilites to level one users. . .

Below level 3 only means that the user is new or not have been too active. It doesn't mean they are idiots or ignorant. They might have higher IQ than most here, but too busy with their productive life to spend too much time doing Q's / A's. Why shouldn't they report abuse??
