Any women experience sharp stabbing pains in their vagina?

In the past 6 months, I've begun experiences sharp stabbing and shooting pains in my vagina. They're unpredictable and aren't terribly frequent. I've felt them maybe 6 times over the past 6 months. When they happen, they hurt so badly sometimes I have to stand up and breathe hard. I've fallen to the floor once with them too. They don't just come before my period. I just finished my cycle and am feeling these pains since last night.

I'm not pregnant, have never had sex, don't masturbate, and am in my late 20s. What could this be? Please, I know the doctor is my best answer. I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced the same thing and what they did. Thanks!!

One possibility that the dr could check for when you go is to see if an infection could be playing in to this, another may be endometriosis.
