Unless you build up business credit under your business's name, you will not be able to get credit.

Maybe. If the insurance business is a franchise of a large insurance organization, they might put up the money. But, you will have to convince them that you have the background to make this successful.

Odds are you won't be able to unless you have sizable collateral for put up.

There are small business grants out there for someone who is looking into going into business, check with the SBA in your state and see what may be out there for you.
