Become a reporter and THEN ask this asinine question. They ask questions so people CAN tell them how they feel. It's you who is the dumbass, not the reporters.

They think of the news as entertainment. They try to ask stupid questions because their target demographic, the stupid listener, wants to know the answers to those questions.

You see it all the time on the local evening news. If no one answers the door at a house where there was a tragedy the reporters show a video of themselves knocking on the door. Otherwise they go and find the really dumbest on-looker and get a deep comment from them on the other person's grief.

Good point, I said the same thing the other day, you would think they would go over the questions with someone before going on the air. I think most of them check common sense at the door anyway.

Yah cnn sucks, what happened to the real reporting and having the tuff questions asked. CNN only talks about iraq now, when will they learn we dont care about how many Iraqis die everyday. they are beating a dead horse.

I agree. They do it all the time. I don't know it they're trying to make themselves look good or just fill up time. It's annoying.

I agree. I wouldn't let them interview me. I watch them asking people questions and it makes me cringe. their questions are stupid, they are fake and obnoxious.
