Sounds like the premise for a dumb movie with teenagers in it.

That's as bad as the April fool gag with telephones . I've done it many times and it works almost every time .
Call a friend's home or work, tell them you're Chief Maloney from the fire department . Explain that there's a security test cleaning of all phone lines that's gonna take place in 15 minutes . As a result , they'll need to place their telephone receivers/handsets in either a paper bag or in the garbage. . .. .. . . because they're gonna 'blow-out' the system and the glass fiber-optics using a strong pulse of air . Tell them that there may be alot of dust that comes through and they wouldn't want that to be all over their phone . Therefore it needs to be put in the garbage or a bag to collect all the dust and not damage their system .
Be very brief and tell them you must get off the line immediately . Sometimes I initially tell them it's gonna happen in 5 or 10 minutes , and then at the end of the conversation I act like I've just been alerted that it's now only a couple minutes away . That really gives them no time to think !! Smile

Not only does it work almost every time, it's absolutely hilarious when you see people putting their phones in the garbage next to their desks !!!

EDIT* - Let me know if any of you try this . I'm tellin ya it's hysterical !!

When I argue politics with people, the one thing they absolutely don't realize is that there are countries where people are so completely uneducated it boggles the mind. There are many Afghanis who have the equivalent of a fourth grade education. You can even go to supposedly developed countries like Brazil and find many people who hardly ever attended school. If you explain that you are from another country, they don't seem to understand. They don't even have a concept of different nations.

I remember seeing a report on tv about Afghans going to the zoo. This is a big attraction, because they have so little money, and not much in the way of entertainment. When they confronted one guy about his throwing rocks (and I mean ROCKS.... not some little stone) at the animals, his incredibly unselfconscious answer was "Because I like to have fun". He seemed to have the mind of a child. You could tell he wasn't mentally retarded, just very uneducated. It didn't occur to him that these animals were supposed to be cherished and enjoyed, not hit for some base amusement factor.

What a brilliant idea. The CIA are obviously working on it. Make it look stupid and just when everyone is laughing at it, we hit them with the virus that causes bleeding when you answer a strange number!

This is because Islam has kept its believers in the dark ages. It wants them to live like this.

Wow. Yeah, that paranoia does surpass anything going on here. I like the idea of passing them out to the Taliban ;-)

Well, what do you expect. Up until a few years ago they didn't know what clothes were until we showed them. Phones have to be a stretch for them to understand except when the guy calls who's buying their opium crop. I bet they take that call without fear of a virus.

That really shows how technologically supressed those people are. It's a shame.

Seriously, do they teach them math and science in school, or are they all just expected to be goat herders and poppy farmers?
