No! that's plenty. In fact that's more than I'd expect.
If she's going 3-4 between them, wets several diapers a day, and is gaining weight appropriately, you have nothing to worry about.

Although your little one is so new to the world, rest assured that her body knows what it does and does not need. If her body needed more nourishment, she would let you know. Keep in mind that their little stomachs are only the size of a small ball at this stage and can only hold a certain amount of fluid comfortably. As long as she has good color, rests easily, wets plenty of diapers a day, and is not spitting up a lot, she's fine. When you go in for your next pediatric checkup, express your concerns to your doctor. For now, though, this is nothing to worry about. Soon, she'll be eating you out of house and home! Good luck!

Since you know the exact amount I'm guessing that you're bottlefeeding. Bottlefed babies eat less often than breastfed babies as the formula takes longer to digest. My daughter is 3 weeks today and she eats about 3 oz of breastmilk every 2 1/2 to 3 hours so I would say your baby is fine...as long as she's wetting and pooing and your doctor says she's fine at her check-ups I wouldn't worry.

His abdomen is least puzzling so great, so no, you won't be able to get him to devour extra at each feed. that would nicely be like asking you to devour sufficient food at one meal to very last you all day. It in basic terms does no longer paintings that way. If he needs to devour each and each 2 hours it truly is particular. carry feeding him on call for. it is going to or is not likely a progression spurt, even if regardless that's major to feed him even as he's hungry and now no longer worry about how lengthy that's been by very actuality he very last ate. No, it frequently does no longer stick. After a even as (varies from extremely some days to three weeks) he will to go back to extra time between feeds. consider that he must be eating on the least each 4 hours. Going longer than that between feeds may reason drops and spikes in blood sugar, hydration, and metabolism.

if she eats like that at night, then no worries. Mine ate 2 oz every 2 hours, so that sounds about right.
Contrary to what others are saying, more than 3 oz is necessary later, like at 2 months. She's not there yet. She is doing just fine. Check for poopy diapers. IF they are common, she is great.

This is actually super. I would only become concerned if she does not take at least 3oz. at a feeding, or if she starts to lose weight. But, her doctor will watch closely right now to make sure things are going well.
Best of luck to you.

She is right on track.... She is eating plenty.... When my baby was three weeks old she only eat 4cc's by feeding tube.... She was 3 months old eating what yours is now.... Good luck with her.... My baby was a micro-premie.... She should be wetting diapers frequently.... As long as she is eating what she wants, wetting several dippeys a day and gaining weight she is just fine....

Is she really small? My baby was only 5 lbs at birth, and that's about how much she ate (not right away, but within the first few weeks and months.) I guess I can't answer without knowing how big your baby is. Ask your pediatrician!

Your baby is doing well. As long as she is peeing and pooed three to four times a day she is doing fine. Good luck and God Bless
