Toronto is the biggest suprise. They have improved by at least 20 games since last season. And they might not bring head coach Sam Mitchell back next season! Do you give this guy an extension for one good season? It should be an interesting situation.
I think Golden State's a bigger surprise than Chicago. Chicago signed Big Ben Wallace in the offseason so they were expected to be good. They just had a poor start. Golden State was a fringe playoff candidate in the start, left for dead in the middle of the season, and now they control their playoff destiny tonight.
Biggest disappointment is the Clippers if they don't make the playoffs. From Western conference contenders to non-playoff team is a steep drop. Indiana's second.

The biggest disappointment is the LA Clippers. After last year we thought they had changed things finally in Clipper land. With no significant losses of players, they are now battling weak teams for a last playoff spot.
The biggest surprise is certainly the Toronto Raptors. Even though the East is sad this year, they have leapfrogged teams that clearly should be better. If they can keep Bosh there and happy, they may have a future also.

Biggest surprise would have to be the Toronto Raptors!! They are blowing up out there! The coach did a great job getting those guys to play, they went from 1st pick in the draft to in the playoffs with a high seed. Easily the Raptors are surprising!!! DISSAPOINTMENT~ probably to me the Nuggets, how do you get Allen Iverson with Carmello and still not do good??? They should be KILLING people, they have 2 of the top 5 scorers in the NBA!!! HOW??? but there you go!!

The Raptors are easily the biggest surprise for me...they have drafted very well the last couple of seasons, and they've certainly proved that there is life after Vince (how's that 7 seed look to him right now)?
The Clippers are very disappointing. It looks like they got all fat and happy after their run last year, and they've given little effort on any given night. No team with Elton Brand banging away in the middle should be fighting for an 8 seed.

raptors, wizards, bulls, Mavs, suns the raptors surprised me becasue they are ranked #3 in the east i would have put them at #7 in the east if i was making predictions in the preseason. The wizards really surprised me on how arenas, butler, and jamison came out of nowhere, the bulls surprised me becasue noone theought they would be ranked #2 in the east. and finally the mavs and the suns because both those teams started 0-4 and now those teams have #1 and #2 as the best record.

i think of the Rays are the main spectacular group by using a good distance. they have an excellent decrease payroll and a miles better checklist. I knew they're first around possibilities have been going to start producing, yet i did no longer understand they might do it this 12 months and play this properly. the biggest sadness to me are the Mariners. upon getting Bedard, expectancies have been very intense. yet they're nonetheless in final place.
