the part that controls the contrasts and the lightening part wont seem to disappear from my computer screen,i tried to restart to see if it would go away and i have pressed the menu button but ut just stay there.so does anyone know what i can do?

If your monitor did not come with a User's Guide (either printed or on the installation CD) go to the manufacturer's website and look for manuals you can download.
Some manufacturers also have a list of FAQs (frequently asked questions) which you can peruse or a "contact us" where you can e-mail them.

unplugging it sounds good. if it's still on there after that, you have a stuck button. restarting your computer shouldnt have anything to do with the monitor.

Monitor is not plugged in to the PC. This is a no communication signal

Try unplugging it from the computer and the power. Then see if your buttons are jammed. reconnect. and try again.
