Do corrupt lobbyists hurt the economy? And does any lobbyist benefit the economy?

That depends on the lobbyist.

The original intent of lobbies was so people & I could donate money a group to appeal to the politicians on our behalf.

Now it's become a system where the rich can buy off polticians.
