Well, I like most everyone else thought of the first most obvious answer and wanted to say ONE! But, then some people did figure out that maybe you're asking how long does a hamster live. I do wish people knew how to properly word a question. Anyway, Syrians have a lifespan of two to three years and Dwarf species have an average lifespan of one to two years.

Rats stay incredibly longer; hamsters stay for 18 months - 2 years, rats stay for roughly 2 years, now and lower back as much as 4 years, yet I even have not come throughout the time of a hamster residing for 4 years.
