here are some statements to use in the essay YOU write
In the book Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde we see evil represented through Mr.Hyde.
We see it is also a choice because Mr. Hyde pulverizes a man because he has a letter to Mr Utterson.
Dr. Jekyll as Mr Hyde can remember the rules he only chooses not to follow.
Dr. Jekyll uses Mr. Hyde to let out his dark side, and eventualy evil takes over, because he commits suicide which is the worst crime in that time, and he is found dead as Mr Hyde.

When Mr. Hyde was released it manifested all of the base side of human nature. It was humanity gone wild and humanity allowing its most horrible self to be revealed.

Did you know this story is based on a true story, of a Deacon Brodie in Edinburgh Scotland? He was a church man by day and a killer by night.
