I am still shocked that he got fired. All sorts of public figures say racists stuff. How many times have you heard a black person say that white people are all nerds or that they cant dance. The question should really be why can black people say anything they damn well please and the white guy is the one that has to watch every word that he says?

i will preface my answer by potential of asserting, i won't stand Imus and don't savor his "humor". i think of his comments have been uncalled for and actual could have been particularly hurtful. With that pronounced, he has apologized countless circumstances on the air. Taking him at his be conscious, i think of a 2 week suspension is adequate. that's my expertise, there are different situations for him being waiting to proceed on the air after the suspension. It has already been suggested with regards to others on the air waves who spout their rubbish too and as for Jackson and Sharpton, properly, the previous adage applies in this occasion. "people who stay in glass residences shouldn't throw stones."

I believe that they made the right decision to fire him. He disrespected the team, and since he's made those comments before, he should have been fired a long time ago. He should never have been on the air to begin with.

Well, it's maybe time to retire for him? I'm sure he has a good pension plan and can retire decently without ever worrying on how to pay his medicines.
