I haven't used that brand of clay mask but I have used clay masks from Origins, Beauty w/o Cruelty, Murad, Avon and Lancome.

The charcoal/clay mask from Origins made my face a little warm for a few minutes but it didn't burn.

None of the other masks made my face tingle or burn at all.

I've had professional facials & light microdermabrasion but have never had anything feel like it was burning my skin.

I think there is something in that mask that is irritating your skin and you should try something else.

You can use a clay mask even if your skin is dry, but you need to use a moisturizing mask directly after, if you do. Most clay masks contain a plant called johoba. That is what causes the burning feeling, and it is perfectly normal.

Well when do you put it on if you put it on after you get out of the shower that's the prob because your pores are open and when the mask gets on it burns. But if not you are probally allergic. Try Queen Helene The Original Mint Julep Masque It Helps Dry up Acne Pimples, Rinse away Blackheads, And shrink enlarged Pores.
