I know the pet food stores only keep the slices in the GOLDFISH TANKS.
I have neon tetras an algea eater some zebra striped ones and a ????? don't know what he is but can i???

Probably so. Most fish will nibble on them some. Be really careful not too add too much at once or let them stay in the tank too long or it will quickly foul the water.

Yep. All ominivore and herbavoir and even carnavoir fish will eat oranges and green veggies. Even salt water fish will eat oranges. The vit. C is great for their diets. Especially goldfish and koi which require a higher vit. c level in their diets.

It takes a long while for an orange to get funky in the tank so tossing in an orange slice for an hour or two is fine. I feed them to my fish all the time.

Neon tetras, a plecostamus and zebra danios? I wouldn't think that would be necessary for them but call the pet store that you bought them from and ask.
