At the moment of death, we face ourselves in a final judgment. This is a very old idea in religion, much older than Christianity, Islam or Judaism.
During this moment, the worth of everything we did stands revealed. There is no avoiding this evaluation; we do it to ourselves. There is no lying about it, and no excuses. Since we lose our sense of separateness after death, all the joys and all the pain we inflicted upon other people are felt as if they were inflicted upon ourselves. Heaven and Hell exist, in other words, but we put ourselves there by the momentum of our actions.
We have a moral duty to be good to one another. This also means that we must be useful in some way to humanity. Someone who has spent her entire life wiping bottoms has had a much more worthwhile life than someone who has simply been drunk the whole time. The drunk and the addict have made their lives useless, and there is nothing more awful than realizing that you have lived a useless life.
So: Be kind, be good to people, serve humanity and be useful.

'Life is just too short to be miserable, Be happy'.
'At the end of your life, the things which you will most regret are the words left unspoken and the deeds left undone'.
I believe we are all here to be good to others, and leave the earth a better place than it was when we were here. Spreading happiness, reducing others' problems, being a good person, always being high on hope and somebody to reckon with. Just remembered, "Do unto others what you want others do unto you". I'm an excessively philosophic person, and I'll stop here, or it'll be never..lol

every day I add to the list of people who can kiss my A$$! > and I'm sure that others add me to their list! The key is remembering to delete those who no longer matter occasionally.

Enjoy it while it lasts and do something great. As far as we know we get only one chance to do this.
