I have applied for a job with the county which I live and also with the local hospital. Will I get one of these jobs?

Government jobs are very competitive. I suggest that you apply to as many places possible, don't just wait on one application. Even if you do get it, you wont start working right away --the selection process is long and then you may have to take a test and pass security checks ie background checks. Unemployment can be depressing --my husband was unemployed for almost a year! Keep busy, don't stay home watching TV all day.

I don't know what skills you have or where you applied.
The worst thing is to sit back and hope one of the two call you. Keep looking for work.
So often crazy things happen, you look and get nowhere, then you're offered a job,and then you get another offer or two.
Both hospitals and county govts are slow in reviewing applications because they get so many.

Depends on what you are qualified for, and what you can do.
Why are you sitting around waiting for a job? Register with a temp agency, and do short term work, and, check daily with your local state employment office. Lazy and waiting for 'something' just doesn't make it in to-day's world. You have a lot of competition, so learn to help yourself. Best wishes

Sorry :( couldn't tell you for sure if you will get one of these jobs all depends on your job history and your resume and if you qualify for the jobs you applied for.
