I have heard that they get £500 quid and a all expenses paid trip. If they leave the show they do not get paid. This kind of makes sense, why else would they let a slimy, self righteous weasel like Jeremy Kyle talk to them like he does. In the real world he would have had his head kicked in many times. If someone goes for him, he either hides behind his hired thugs, or runs away like a frightened rabbit.

In response to many answers already submitted by some rather narrow minded people on this board, I would like to remind that not all of the guests on the Jeremy Kyle programme wear tracksuits, are on benefits or are 'fat with tattoos'.
Some people go on the programme and act calmly and in a mature manner, there are others who play up for the benefit of the viewers but they do not make up the ENTIRE amount of guests.
I also resent the implication of 'fat women with tattoos' being used as a NEGATIVE comment, as I am fat with tattoos. I am however NOT on benefits nor am I a 'chav' as you so eloquently put it.
Shame on you.

I've often wondered about that, especially the ones who seem to be in a relationship where they have some sort of communication problem, I mean how come you can't sit down together and talk things through, but you can go on TV and lay it all out for everyone to comment on and laugh at? it makes no sense at all.perhaps it's the promise of a new pair of track suit bottoms and some Fila trainers that gets them there!:0)

Most of them are sad & pathetic to flaunt their situation on T.V
Plus the attention that they seek from others its just compelete desperation.
The biggest reason of all is that they weekly benefits are about to run out so they have a day out on Jeremy's expense.

If we didn't have shows like Jeremy Kyle, then what would the people on the dole do all day?

I don't think it is real,i think they pay them to put on a show. Also why is it that only on Jerry spinger they start fighting, they don't do that on any other show. Its always the same problems over and over again.

Because they are chavvy scum who deserve each other. They like nothing better than to shout about how useless each other are on TV because they have no self worth so feel they need outsiders appreciation because they do not like themselves.

Shock tactics if somebody refuses to accept a situation or do something about themselves if they have a drinks, drugs or anger problem.
