My toliet was fine, then on Sunday I put one of those blue things to help water stains in my toilet tank, by monday it was leaking from one of the tank bolts. We cleaned out the blue stuff, flushed several times to make sure it was out, after we did that the leak disappeared. What happened and do I need to replace my toliet, if the leak stopped.

You know, maybe it leaked all along, but you never really noticed it until you had blue water. Especially if you have one of those tiny rugs that go around the toilet which I keep because my husband's aim is not so good on his drinking night. Put some koolaid or something easy to get rid of in your tank and see if it is still coming out. You may need a new ring, new bolts, or even a new toilet. Toilets are real easy to replace and you can find some nice ones for under $100 at Lowes.

I doubt if you need a new toilet, but you may need a repair kit.
The gasket that connects the tank to the bowl could be leaking. It is not a big job, but you will have to shut off the water and loosen the water supply. When you reinstall, don't' oevertighten the nuts, you could crack the ceramic pieces, and then you would need to get another toilet. good luck

The gaskets around the tank bolts could be starting to deteriorate. A new set of bolts is cheap and it takes about 20 minutes to replace.

Try that before going to buy a new bowl.
