i normally think that fate is that wall you're surely going to bump into when u r driving your bike without a helmet on and destiny is something that flowers out when u take care of the garden,.

Ultimately they are the same thing, or very closely related. Fate will happen as will destiny. It's all about if something must happen or not, and in either case, the answer is yes, but perhaps destiny is a bit more positive, whereas fate can also be a negative future.

destiny is something you plan for...fate is what happens anyway.
