There is no remedy for scars, once the skin is damaged it can never be repaired. using vitamin e can help in early stages of scarring to help reduce appearnace, but scars will always be there. other than laser treatment, there is no cure. buy some vitamin e capsules, break one in half and rub the oil onto the scars. this may help reduce appearance. it worked for me.

Time.

I still have two scars on my neck from them from when 25 years ago, they have diminished over time to a discoloration only, almost like a birthmark, but red...

when I was younger, the dr's were giving cortisone shots into them, but that was painful and there was no visable effect for years after (supposed to be more immediate).

good luck and bear with it

I would think microdermabrasion.
After that, getting a nice suntan helps hide scars.
