You're best answer is this:
Flip the keyboard over, use a screwdriver to take the back plate off, the top of the keyboard should come off, and at that point you should be able to just shake it gently until the rice comes out...if not, by pulling gently on the keys, they can come off the key housing, then you can go deeper. Afterwards, put the keys back in their original poitions, or you'll have a hell of a time trying to type correctly...
pace front cover back on and put screws back in...that simple.

Wait til it gets hard (I'm guessing it was cooked) and then get a can of compressed air (you can buy this at an office supply store such as Staples or Office Depot) and spray it into the keyboard. Tilt the keyboard a bit to help it get all out. Since it's not a liquid it should not cause any problems.

Turn it upside down and shake it. My husband eats at the computer and gets all kinds of food and crap in our keyboard. Drives me nuts. Sometimes I take the crevasse tool to my vacuum and try to suck some of it out, but I've found that turning it upside down (like I do to the toaster...just make sure you have it over the trashcan.) works the best.
Good luck! Was it fried rice ya got in there?

You hang your keyboard upside down and slam the rice out.
It happens to me when I eat cookies on the keyboard.

Any electronics or hardware store will sell canned air. Here is a link to amazon, but lowes or home depot, best buy etc all have it. Get a can with a straw for a keyboard.

I'd suggest you try an 'air duster' [canned air], as it works well for computer cleaning. You can get the stuff at WalMart for about $4.00/10 ounce (284 gram) can.
Good Luck!, =)

Flip it over and shake it over the trash. Also, try a can of air.
