If you did, what do you think about it?
I am reading A Christmas Carol now, it's good. Eventhough I found Great Expectations fantastically boring I came to the last part of the book and dropped it. I even decided I don't like the author and will never read any of his books.
The only reason I gave A Christmas Carol a chance in the first place, is that I bought it used for only one pound. I've known that many people like Bleak House. Do you recommend it?
Or shouldn't I read it if I found Great Expectations was boring?

I liked Bleak House quite a lot. It is certainly one of the more depressing books by Dickens, but it has a lot going for it. I think this is one of the novels (along with Our Mutual Friend) in which London itself seemed a character. There is a lot of atmosphere to this book, and the characters are very rich. I really would recommend reading it.

I read it for an AP English class in high school and I think once in college too. If you're going to try another Dickens, Bleak House could be a little rough going if you found Great Expectations boring. I'd recommend my favorite, Nicholas Nickelby, instead.

I by no ability have examine "Bleak domicile" yet while i substitute into 21 or so, I re-examine "Oliver Twist" and found out that it substitute into relatively humorous! the opening series, as quickly as we detect out how adverse the orphanage is (How adverse substitute into it?) is incredibly reliable. this is parody, yet my severe college English instructor did no longer know it, or did no longer let us know!
