walmart, mcdonald's any of those really low paying jobs, i think. im not a felon

You shouldn't have a problem in Orlando. Everyone there is a convicted felon. Just be honest with employers. If you're a felon and lie about it, you will never get a job.

I really not sure, this may be a ground work situation and require asking around. Check and see if there are some Half-Way Houses that may know. Also, check with the Parole Office. Even if the person not on Parole they can still check Bulletin Boards and Ask.

Here something I found that may be a leverage in obtaining work, not sure how true it is, I just Searched around to find you something;
Many people that do the hiring for business here (Florida) don't know that the company gets a healthy tax break for hiring ex cons? Something to the tune of $2,800.00? I don't think many other states would have that sort of tax break for their business communities.

i think of i could communicate with the dep. of employment on your county. They know which employers could hire felons. lots would matter on how long that's been because of the fact that your conviction and how long you have been out of detention center in case you have been incarcerated.
