I can hear it now, total gun control. I would like to wonder what might have been if a student or two with concealed carry permits had been packing.

the liberal politicians were unable to contain their glee over this tragedy for even 24 hours after it occurred. barely hours after the shooting happened there were politicians calling for gun bans, blaming the college, basically politicizing on a tragedy. did we expect any better from them? i didn't

Which is more important to you...Right to bear arms???Or right to live???
Listen the problem is we have the total right to bear arms but with none of the responsibility for doing so.Show me one good reason why anyone...ANYONE...needs an automatic rifle?Or Pistols?High Powered rifles??
Its a cop-out to suggest your right to bear arms should have no consquences attached and that life should just go on as before.
Its MORE than 1 nut case...read the papers over the past year...2years...its ridiculous what you and other "gun lovers" like to ignore.Your point of the "left" intruding into our lives is moot...How about you "right wingers" intruding into MY life and my kids life with a fear of being shot?
Read history..instead of interpeting it.It was never meant to be carte blance right to bear arms.It was at a time the country could not afford a standing army and armed its citizens instead.

Won't happen, there will be lots of talk but no new laws. Although to be honest the idea of students carrying guns scares the living crap out of me.
