I know you are thinking you are profound, but, cars have other useful purposes. But, it would be wiser for America had we developed a better mass transit system in the past, and, had better gun control. Why is that so terrible? There are more laws on my obtaining a drivers license than buying an automatic 9mm whose only intention is to hurt or kill others. Why is this hard for you to wrap your mind around it?

Has anyone ever run over a person with their gun? Or maybe gotten in ther gun after a night of binge drinking and killed an entire family?

Acually that isn't true... Guns and cars can kill people... Also many other things can people, but a gun can... Haven't yopu herd about the Virginia Tech. Shooting yesterday?

Not that I've seen.

But then again, cars are designed for driving, Guns are designed for killing.

I can see how people make that argument.

Both are simply tools.

Both require responsible use and permits to own.

Homicidal/suicidal (or intoxicated) people shouldn't be allowed to engage either of them.
