Do you think Bratz dolls are a little too dirty?

I mean, c'mon, they promote huge bulging lips and eyes, unbeleivable amounts of make up, and not to mention they dress like ho's ready for the corner. They may be a bad influence. What do you think of the bratz dolls?

Now you wanted my opinion so don't get all whiny when I tell it to you either because I don't know if it's a European thing or what but I'm like my mom both very well outspoken. This explanation might be and probably will be very long. In MY opinion I think you guy's are the most CLOSE MINDED people ever. I'm 15 yrs. old well not yet I will be though. I've started playing with Bratz when I was in the 3rd grade when they first came out so I've been a Bratz girl for 6 yrs now. Now everything I'm saying is not just because I'm a bratz lover. That's like saying that just because you love chocolate it's healthy food. Do I think Bratz dolls are a little too dirty? NO. I have been a Bratz collector for a good while now. Here's my story I rember when I was in 3rd grade and I had nothing to do because I threw all my Barbie doll's in the backyard in the mud (the smartest move a young girl could ever make.) I remember I was so bored I had come home from school and my mom was going to take me to Target to get me any toy I wanted because I gotten 3 A+ on my tests that I studied very hard for. We drove to target and I was so excited because I desperately wanted a new toy or CD to drive off this insanity of boredom I had in my mind. So we got in the store and I just wanted to run to the toy aisle but I had to be patient so my mom did what she had to do first because she didn't want me saying, "Mom is it time to go yet?" After I got my toy. So after she was finally done with her errand's we head to the toy aisle. I passed the guy's toy's filled with lego's, hot wheel's, and Digimon card's. I passed the babie's toy's filled with fisherprice, then there was the Baby doll's which I grew out of because I never wanted (still don't) to have kid's. Then there it was the doll aisle I wasn't getting all my hope's up because I didn't want to be dissapointed my mom had her cart looking at the horror movie's she wanted to get and she kept a close eye one me. I walked in the doll aisle praying I'd find something so beautiful, un - perfect, unique, and not pink. I looked at the doll area and there was one side shelve's were all pink and filled with creepy Barbie's that had these annoying smile's on there face's, and the year's, year's, of plastic surgery she had. I pouted at first beeing mad wasn't there any thing beside's Barbie. I was turning my head to the other shelf not getting any hope's because chance was it all had Barbie. I turned my head and I was wrong there was no PINK! It was other color's of the rainbow they were supposedly called Bratz. I looked at them thinking they were so beautiful. I thought I needed to have one. I looked at all of them carefully making the doll selection's. The thing is even though I'm white I was relieved to see doll's of different race's, and ethnicitie's, and different style's not colors. (Barbie has pink someone has blue, etc.) I spotted my eye's at the blonde Cloe doll and I loved her the fine makeup style's, the clothe's selection's, the shoe's, I fell in love and I showed my mom she was suprised not because she didn't like the doll but because it wasn't Barbie she was relieved she was tired of seeing doll's with more plastic surgery than a normal person should have. She said I could get two doll's because of my excellent grade's and I got Cloe and the beautiful Asian Jade. Now here I am today and I still love Bratz. I know, I know I'm too old. Well no I'm not. I actually think Bratz are more appriate than Barbie I would never let my kid get a Barbie (not that I want one). Here's the reason when I loved Barbie's I didn't love they're different job's, or whatever I thought how perfect they were and that's how I needed to be. At kindergarten I would cry if I didn't get an answer wrong. I even started saying to myself I was ugly and fat in the 3rd grade because I was developing and getting curve's (naturally) faster than other girl's. I mean I had blonde hair and blue eye's but I never felt pretty, smart, perfect. My grandma was worried she thought that I would get anxious like her. Well I've had my 1st and only panic attack in 2nd grade. But when I got the Bratz doll I never felt that way again. I looked at the Bratz when I unopened the box (it took a long time, but it was worth it). I looked at Cloe, and she had blue eye's, and light blonde hair like me. And yes they do have big head's, big lips, and snapping feet but that was why I loved the Bratz instantly. At first glance people might think they Bratz are ugly and freaky because of those big head's, and lip's, but when I looked at them I thought they were not just beautiful but different and unique after that I didn't feel I had to be perfect as much as I did back then. How the Bratz dress - Well the motto is, "The ONLY girl's with a passion for fashion" And I agree with it 100%. Do I think their clothe's are trashy? No. Do I think they're sluts? No. Do I think they're whore's, hoe's, etc.? No. Do I think they're good role model's? YES! I agree with the Bratz looking good is important yes, yes look's are not important but it's sad that's not the kind of world we live in it's apparent look's DO matter. If you want a good job you have to dress the part, if you're going to some kind of formal even you're not gonna go in sweat pant's, hair a mess, and not even a smudge of makeup. Oh and in case if you moron's forgot, Bratz are DOLLS! First off let me get my dictionary a slut - is a promiscuous women. How is a doll a slut? A hoe is not even what it should be it's a gardening tool! A whore is a prostitute. A prostitute is one who offers sexual intercourse in return for payment. Now last time I checked these are doll's and I don't think doll's can do it. Also you know that's a real insult to Isaac's daughter Jasmin (she has a bratz doll named after her) she's not like a Ms. Paris Hilton she's actually going to college and she's very pretty and nice. Now the commercial's may be a little suggestive sometime's but what commercial isn't? Hello it's advertisement! And I look up to Isaac because he started with nothing and now look at him he has a lot that's truly inspirational and a human did that. Do I think they dress bad? No I think they dress nicely. The makeup alright I want you to turn on your TV's go to Vh1 or whatever and watch a marathon of America's Next Top Model I want you to compare how much makeup they have on compared to the Bratz, because I assure you for the runway's and photoshoot's, it's going to be a lot. Beside's if that's how your kid's make it out to be it's not the doll's fault it's your's for letting her see OR hear that kind of stuff! Now Bratz don't just shop everday and it's not all they do, that' Mattel remember? The character's all have their different personalitie's whatever you want them to be. If you watch their movie's or play the game's, or even just read the back. You'll see that it alway's say's something about following your dream's, or friendship. The Bratz care about that they think friendship and following your dream's should be at the top of your list? Wow these doll's do sound an awful lot like street walker's don't they? The cool thing is people of all age's, and gender's play or love Bratz. Aly and Aj, Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, Kelly Clarkson, Evanessence (well Amy anyway's), Avril, even Fall Out Boy, and they're guy's. Open you're eye's people this isn't the 30's, 60's, or whatever it's 2007. That's my opinion people and I hope you enjoy it. I agree with her maybe you're saying they dress trashy because you're jealous because you can't or don't want to dress nice. Hey if you've got it flaunt it. And I got it all. Bye Bratz Haters. Oh by the way it's come on, and unbelievable. Jeeze a 14 yr. old has to tell someone how to spell.

Bratz don't talk like that at all. I've been collecting since I was 6 or seven and I'm almost 14 now. I have EVERY movie and have seen every episode of the show. They are loving teenagers that thing talking like that is wrong. She obviously learned that from her family or friends. Sometimes we say things like that, and don't notice that we are. I've had bratz for long and still have 127 and keep collecting. I am not a whore or a slut because of Bratz. People blame the dols because they don't know what else to do to cover up what they have done. I'm not saying you taught her that, but a lot of people cover it up by saying it was the Bratz. Btw, the bratz don't have stuck-up voices. I actually suggest showing her a Bratz movie and pointing out the wonderful things they say and do while you watch

Personally, they ARE looking a lot like 'ladies of the night' (Streetwalkers or Prostitutes) instead of little girls -- and did you notice how a LOT of the clothing that is popular for little girls (babies really -- and the children's sizes) are all too short, and too revealing now too?

I think that the Bratz Dolls are NOT appropriate for ANY little girl -- they need to have BETTER Role Models and their Mothers (and yes, I did this as a Long Term Single Mom of a Daughter) ... need to SHOW the girls that a REAL WOMAN is NOT just the 'surface' looks -- she can be dressed appropriately (and not showing skin) and use her MIND and TALENTS to make a living OTHER than being a prostitute.

As for their looks and curves I am glad they are that way .We aren't all barbie you know all unshapely and what not and as for the makeup I wear mine like that as a matter of fact aside from the clothes I have been told I look like one....but I do agree they are dressed like hoes ready for the corner mostly but they are just trying to keep up with the trends I mean is it just me or do the latest fashion trends show off way too much.....

Ok......... My daughter has some. That is the direction the kids are going now in days. Have you seen "Mean Girl's" or even your local High School. Come on now. My daughter does know right from wrong. She also is not a ho.

The Bratz "babies" wear belly tops and mini skirts!

It's kinda funny to me...But sad in a a way I suppose...

I was about 9 when the Bratz came out (I'm 16 now) I liked them! They didn't have a bad influence on me...so they're fun to the girls! Let them have fun!

They are disgusting - I banned them from the house - I banned the relatives from gifting them. They look like some streetwalkers. (the dolls, not the relatives)

I think they look pretty trashy, too. I heard that they now outsold Barbie, but at least Barbie is a better dresser!
