If you enjoyed that movie, you might like "The Shop Around the Corner", starring Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. It is the originial version of "You've Got Mail" and in my opinion, the better movie, though I like Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
The musical "She Loves Me" is another entertaining version of the story. You can get the soundtrack on CD.

It is a sweet movie with a clever plot. I like how the screenwriters put a modern twist on it and the director got two amazing actors with great on-screen chemistry. The idea of the movie is true too if you think about it..................little businesses are often run out due to huge commercial corporation businesses coming to town. And the scene where Kathleen has just shut-down her store and went to Fox Books and sits down in the children's section and overhears a customer asking about a book and the sales person has no idea about it...............that happens in real life!! Nothing is personal at big commerical places and staff do not care about their job, but about selling a product. People like at Kathleen's make an effort to put a personal touch on everything. It is a neat movie and I enjoy it too

It is an updating of Lubitsch's The Shop Around the Corner and the subsequent Judy Garland musical In the Good Old Summertime. I prefer either to You've Got Mail, which I mostly dislike for its conclusion -- Good lord, he uses inherited wealth to drive her out of business (and put all those nice eccentrics out of work), and she still falls in love with him? Wouldn't a decent person have decided that just this one branch of Megagigantabooks could do without a children's section?

I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. It's always an inside joke between my friends as we quote various lines of the movie to one another.
"Go to the mattresses"
"You know what...clam sauce. Yeah, cuz this is a really big date"
"Thank yer"
And several others great lines. I must admit I would quite enjoy being friends with these people. I love the characters. I love their witty banter, I love how they relate to one another. It's a great story and could watch it over and over again.
