Well everything that happens to you is psychological.
You feel things that happen to your body because your brain recognizes them. Not just because they happen. you have to acknowledge there is something going on before you can feel pain. Sometimes the pain itself is acknowledgement. Sometimes you gotta get scared by the sight of blood.

You don't feel pain until the brain realizes there is a problem and sends a signal to the affected body part.

it takes awhile before the brain intercepts the signal that you are injured....ie...if you cut your foot with a razor or sharp object the nerves would take awile to react. But again your brain can see a cut or injury and conjure pain

that happen to me , i open the door on my foot and after a couple of minutes, i check if my foot was okay and it a deep scar and then i felt the pain. pain is really your brain telling that something that you hurt yourself

If i was a vulcan like dr spock i could control pain with my mind !!!! but as im just little old me !!! Pain bloody hurts for real !!! lol , it just seems worse when you see it !!!

I think most of it is...

Sometimes you see little kids run into things and once you acknowledge they are hurt and you say are you alright they start to cry.
