To be honest, yes! My initial reaction is usually a judgemental one. I think it's just how the human mind protects us. We naturally try to suss people out.
However, in most situations I usually check myself and remember not to judge.
For example, if I read on here that someone is 18 and their boyfriend is 40, I'd initially make a snap judgement that he was a perve and she was naive, without even thinking about it. But then I'd stop for a second and realise that might not be the case!
So I try not to let my snap judgements control my overall judgement of people :-)

We make judgements about people every day, albeit perhaps unwittingly. We see someone walking by our car and we lock the doors. We see someone in the mall with a great figure and get excited (even though they may have some nasty disease, snaggled teeth, and bad breath which we can't see). We take a call from someone at work and make conclusions about their intelligence.
So yes, we judge whether we intend to or not.

I see auras. I feel energies. I know the good and the bad before I even talk to them. I believe everyone can change. I judge but that doesn't mean my judgement is final. I watch my back around people I don't trust and stay away from people I know won't change.

What people claim and what they are really like are 2 different things! Some even convince themselves that they are non judgemental and whos to argue with them...
Still, that said, I think weve all been guilty of it at some point in our lives. You just have to learn to listen and understand a sitution or person before judging it or them. Be sure before you say anything. We all have to learn to do this.......

I think it's really hard to not judge others; everyone does, it's instinct! In fact! I was told that you've already made a judgement about someone in the first 3 sconds of seeing them! So you can't really do anything about it unfortunantly; just, when you judge them, try and judge them nicely! =D

Every one is to some extend. Otherwise they will be......... boring! We set our own standards and if someone does not meet the standards set then we can become very judgemental. I don't care what anyone says we are all guilty of this.
Even Mother Theresa was judgemental...she could give some one a good tongue lashing if that person did not meet her exacting standards.

I think the words "judge" and being "judgmental" have several meanings. People in their own minds "determine" their likes and dislikes and what's comfortable for them as individuals so they do "make judgments". But in today's times people speak of "judging" others as perhaps being racist or because of their own haughty ego putting people down. Every language has many different meanings for one word so you have to make sure you're on the same page with someone you're having a conversation with.

Every one and every one judges people even when it's not intentional. You cannot help but make assumptions about a person because of the way they look or the way they act. If i see someone acting like a **** then it's pretty fair to assume that they are a ****, you just can't help it, so long as you don't let it affect the way you treat that person.

Of course it's human but I think w all have to keep it under check. Judgment is assessment, it's a self protection thing that we seem to all have programmed in us.I also try not to judge others but it doesn't always work. I am flawed in this just like everyone truly is.

I judge people on sight, I know it's wrong and not very reliable. Some people I started off hating on sight ended up being good friends, I'm not sure if its because I hated them and wanted to figure out what made them so detestable, or if I'm just ignorant, or what.
