Your blood pressure is typically lower during the first trimester. If you know anyone who has naturally low blood pressure (Like Me), you'll know that they are often cold, as apposed to someone with high blood pressure who is hot all the time. It is the same principle. Since your blood pressure is lower than you are used to, you tend to get cold or suffer from chills more often. The good news is that it will pass as your pressure regulates.

Yes, I had them constantly and it drove my husband nuts! I would ALWAYS want the heater on (and I am not a heater person .. I'm usually hot blooded) and I'd keep the heater on like 80-85 and it would roast him out of the house.
Now at 28 weeks, it's the opposite!! I"m always HOT! and want the air conditioner on 70 :)

good luck! God bless!

I am 23 weeks and I get cold easy to. I asked my DR and she explained that it's because most of your heat is concentraining around your baby. This is normal. get used to it. momma. You aren't the only one. If you still are upset about this ask your DR he or she will explain it and go though your concerns that's what a dr visit is for.

I guess it could be. It depends on what is normal for you and what the temperature is where you are. Is it cold there?
