It is soo easy to incorrectly shoot someone when hostilities are surrounding you. Add to the fact that it is a stressfull environment... PLEASE LIBS DONT SAY "WELL WE SHOULD NOT BE THERE". WE ARE NOW GET OVER IT. We should not put these guys on trial. Think about it, if your son were to go there, I UNDERSTAND LIBS THAT MOST OF YOU WOULD NEVER LET YOUR SON GO THERE, WOULD YOU NOT WANT HIM TO SHOOT 1ST AND ASK QUESTIONS LATER. I would. The only troops I'm aware of that have been put on trial are men that committed violent acts outside of combat. I agree that in the heat of battle things can happen. but premeditated acts of violence on civilians is a crime no matter when or where it occurs.
Do you feel that it is acceptable for American soldiers to change out of uniform, drive to a civilian home, rape a 14yo girl and then kill the whole family?

If they are committing war crimes, raping children and shooting people in the back, who should pay? You know Bush isn't. If you were an innocent Iraqi and your family was murdered, wouldn't you want justice?

these troops are getting fair "U.S. trials". If the shooting is accidental, they will be found innocent. If they murdered someone in cold blood, they will found guilty as they should be. War does not excuse murder. There is evidence that U.S. troops have raped and murdered. That is sad and horrible. It also requires justice.
