Yes, indeed. Most extremes are better because they "push the envelope" or "be outside the box". Someone needs to keep watch for the places other than "the middle of the road".

I think one of the major problems we have in todays society is that we have forgotten the wise adage "all things in moderation"..we want extremes in everything, from beauty, to love to wealth, we all want to be special, when we fail to realize thats just not realistic and meant for only a small percentage.

it depends.. i know we wouldnt have a lot of great musical works and art if they werent pushed to the extreme. perhaps we do not appreciate the effects of an extreme until sometimes afterwards. whether it be good or bad, we still learn something important.

Hmm...good question. Sometimes. It depends on the personality, though. For me, yes....I always dive right in, get my lessons. Other people have fears that I don't.
