Since the Virginia Tech shootings, many people on Yahoo have asking quesitons about banning guns. Knives kill a lot of people every day in the United States. In a query I ran against the Cincinnati Enquirer, there were 46 people killed since the beginning of the year.
So should we ban all sharp knives as well?

AA - Have you ever tried to dodge a knife when it is being thrusted at you? We do this in taekwondo with rubber knives and it is very hard to do and we train for this situation.
You can have multiple killings with a knife. Its not as easy to do as with a gun, but it can be done.

yep i can walk into any hardware store and buy a multitude of things that can kill. People can kill with their hands too, what are we gunna do about that?
