Just hours after a student at Virginia Tech went on a killing spree that claimed 33 lives Monday, speculators began snatching up domain names related to the shooting.

Dozens of people registered sites like vatechbloodbath.com, virginiatechmurders.com and blacksburgmassacre.com through companies like GoDaddy.com and Enom, Inc. Several of the names went up for sale on eBay later that day.

OMG that is horrible!! I know someone who died. Lauren McCain. It is really sad!! My brothers favorite teachers died ther also. It struck me like a blow to the head. People are stupid and idiotic. Hopefully people will see this is not VT's fault and it doesn't reflect on the school. VT is one of the best schools. This could have happened to Yale or Princeton also. VT was just really unlucky.

I agree entirely. Laws of some kind should be introduced to stop this hapening. These laws should be passed in as many countries as possible to stop people bypassing one countries internet laws by simply registering on a foreign site. Sadly people will always exploit incidents like these no matter what laws are passed
