Dance! I have Cardio Hip Hop and Cardio Salsa DVDs by MTV that I watch and follow along with. They are great for when you have a quick 10 minutes to kill or you can do all of the DVD for a whole 30-minute workout. But if you don't like to dance, then find something that you like to do and do it indoors. (For instance if you like to run, then use the treadmill when it's raining outside.) If you are short on space, you could always run up and down the stairs. I've seen trainers at the gym have people do that as part of their workout.

Depends on what type of exercise you want to do.
For cardiovascular exercise anything that gets you moving. Skipping rope is pretty easy and takes no space. Dancing is much more fun. Stepping up and down (simulated climbing stairs) is also useful or as one other person said, climb up and down stairs if you have them.
For strength it is a little harder but there is a reason people do push ups, sit ups, and leg lifts.

yes, dancing, running stairs are good exercise, but if you want to accomplish something, try frenetic house cleaning. Moving furniture, vacuuming, washing walls & windows, scrubbing floors can work up a sweat and make your house sparkle at the same time. Want to start on mine??
