Shouldn't we be in the streets trying to make sure this is the last school shooting, by changing the laws on gun control? Making sentences tougher for illegal guns? Offering more support for people who are victims of such tragedies? Somebody talk to me here!

On November 18, 1978, the Reverend Jim Jones had his followers drink Kool-Aid from a tub. They didn't know it was laced with cyanide and an assortment of tranquilizers resulting in the death of 908 of his followers.
On 9/11, terrorists used box cutters and airplanes.
The US Justice Department defines a mass murder as one that kills four or more people during one event.

If you want comments on your bankrupt idea that more gun control will solve these kinds of problems then go read many of the well reasoned answers to similar questions posted in the last several days.
Oh, while you are at it read the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution (It's in the Bill of Rights). Then ask yourself this: If only one student at VT had exercised his 2nd Amendment rights in defiance of local law might the killer have been stopped stopped in his tracks far short of his ultimate number?

The guns were purchased legally. It's not a matter of gun control. Some people are just freaks you can't control and if they want to go out and kill people, they'll find ways whether it be with a gun, bomb, car, etc. It has nothing to do with gun control and everything to do with people control, which we all know, can't happen.
